Our facility is well equipped to perform routine chemical synthesis as well as sophisticated chemistry experiments. Most of our chemistry requires handling of air ans moisture sensitive chemicals. The reagents and products are handled under vacuum or purified nitrogen or argon atmosphere. We perform our reactions using standard Schlenk technique. Our glove boxes and solvents purification system are our work horse and operate under high purity argon.
In addition to that mentioned above we perform homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, high pressure reactions and polymerization of gaseous monomers.
The spectroscopic methods that we routinely practice include multinuclear NMR (proton, carbon, phosphorus, boron, fluorine, selenium, aluminum, silicon, lithium etc.), infrared (IR), UV-vis. Our research also heavily relies on single crystal X-ray, elemental analysis and high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS).
